I began painting seriously in the 80's. The amount of creative leeway allowed me as an art director was nil. These paintings developed as an outlet for me to express with no constraints. I painted on nights and weekends. The imagery quickly became so intimate and personal that was reluctant to show them. When I did, I found that everyone brought their own story to them. If the image is honest, people respond.
