Oscar Senn has painted in oils since grade school. His subjects range from large format landscapes to works exploring the spiritual side of childhood and common American life. Loose and gestural at the surface, his landscapes and waterscapes can appear alluringly photographic from a distance. His figural paintings evoke a poignant narrative moment in the life of a soul.

Educated at Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, he has worked as a newspaper illustrator in Florida and an advertising Art Director in both Florida and California. His work has been included in Communication Arts magazine’s Illustration Annual and honored by the New York Art Director's Show. His work is featured in collections all over the country. He currently lives in Florida with a dog, two cats, and a turtle.
